Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings and use of services provided by Rayventure Travels, an Iceland-based travel agency. By booking or using our services, you agree to the terms outlined below along with our Privacy Policy. Together, these documents form the legal agreement between you and Rayventure Travels.


1. Company Information

Rayventure Travels is a registered travel agency operating in Iceland. A booking is only considered confirmed once full or partial payment is received and a confirmation invoice is issued. Our services include customized and pre-designed itineraries, self-drive trip plans, and optional hosting services—all delivered via our mobile app for ease and flexibility.


2. Payment Terms

Custom & Pre-Made Itineraries (App-Based Services)

Payment is required in full at the time of booking to access itinerary content via the Rayventure Travels app. These are digital products and are non-refundable once delivered unless otherwise stated.

Travel Packages with Hosting or On-Ground Services

We accept all major credit cards and bank transfers.

  • A 30% deposit is required to confirm any hosted or on-the-ground package.

  • Final payment is due no later than 5 weeks prior to arrival.

  • Late payments may result in cancellation of services and forfeiture of the deposit.


3. Pricing Policy

All prices are in Icelandic Krona (ISK) unless otherwise stated. Prices may vary depending on supplier rates and availability. Once a booking is confirmed and paid in full, the price is locked and guaranteed. Quotes are subject to change until payment is received.


4. Cancellation Policy

Digital Itineraries (App-Based)

Due to the nature of digital products, itinerary purchases are non-refundable once delivered.

Travel Services & Packages (1–5 Participants)

  • More than 2 weeks before arrival: 70% refund / 30% credit

  • Less than 2 weeks before arrival: 50% refund / 50% credit

  • Less than 72 hours before: No refund or credit

Group Bookings (6+ Participants)

  • More than 4 weeks before arrival: 30% refund / 70% credit

  • Less than 4 weeks before: 20% refund / 80% credit

  • Less than 2 weeks before: No refund or credit

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to 📧 rayromagui@outlook.com. We strongly advise purchasing travel insurance to protect your plans.


5. Weather & Activity Cancellations

Outdoor activities may be impacted by Iceland’s weather. If we cancel a scheduled activity for safety reasons, you will receive a full refund or an alternative option of equal value.


6. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept all major credit cards. If a third-party card is used, we may request written consent from the cardholder for verification.


7. Changes & Modifications

We’ll do our best to accommodate trip modifications, but changes are not guaranteed and may incur additional costs. Requests for changes must be sent in writing at least 72 hours in advance to 📧 rayromagui@gmail.com.


8. Responsibility & Liability

Rayventure Travels is not liable for delays, cancellations, or itinerary changes due to:

  • Weather, illness, natural events, flight delays

  • Acts of God or force majeure

  • Third-party provider issues

We’ll always prioritize safety and provide reasonable alternatives when possible.


9. Travel Documents & Passports

It is your responsibility to ensure you hold a valid passport and all necessary travel documents for Iceland (valid for at least 3 months beyond your departure date).

All itinerary and trip documents are sent via email or through the Rayventure app after confirmation.


10. Travel Agent Policy

We offer commissions for travel agents booking private or hosted tours. Discounted and promotional services are not commissionable.


12. Claims & Complaints

All complaints or refund claims must be made in writing within 7 days of service completion.


13. Refund Process

If your tour or service is canceled, you’ll receive an email with a link to request your refund.
Refunds are processed within 3–4 business days. Depending on your bank, the refund may take up to 10 business days to appear in your account.


14. Itinerary Flexibility

We reserve the right to adjust or reroute your itinerary due to safety, weather, or logistical reasons. Your guide or service coordinator will keep you informed and provide the best alternative available.
